Brief Description of the Community
         Barangay Geronimo is one of the smallest barangay in the Municipality of Montalban now  known  as Rodriguez. Formerly  it was part of the Barangay San  Rafael and was made an independent  barangay in 1960. It  was named after a local hero, Gen. Licerio Geronimo, a , an American member of  the Katipunan. Gen. Licerio Geronimo was created for the death of Gen. Lawton an American General in a  battle in  San Mateo.
         Barangay Geronimo is approximately six hundreds (600) meters away from the town proper. It has a total land  area of thirty seven (37) hectares and more  than  ten  (10)  thousand population. The  barangay was divided into five (5) sitios and five (5) residential subdivisions.
Being  very  close  to  the  town  proper,  prominent  families,  professionals  and OFW reside in the place, however you can still find handful of farmers and fishermen residing in the place. Majority of the people are literates  and  proud  to  be  the  site  of  the first public high school in the municipality named after the Gen. Geronimo.
         The barangay derives  its  income  from  the  establishments  and factories which created jobs for the people. Besides    subdivisions owners  set up their business firms in the place. It is quite progressive and peaceful barangay.
At present the Barangay Chairman is Eng'r. Victorino C. Alejandro.
