Geronimo   Elementary    School   is  located in the  heart   of  Barangay  Geronimo  and    a    next     door    neighbor    of    Gen.    Licerio  Geronimo     Memorial National High School.
After  the  creation   of   Barrio   Geronimo  in 1960,   the   barrio   council   made   a  resolution   requesting congress for a barrio school.   It  was  Sen.  Francisco  Sumulong      who     appointed     the     amount       of  Php8,000.00  out  of his pork barrel  for  the  purchase  of  a school  site. The barrio council   found   a  school  found   a  school   site   situated  in   "Balicatan"    rice  fields and bought 1,600 sq.m. lot for Php7,800.00.
While   waiting   for   the   request   of   a  two-room prefab  building,  two Grade I  classes   were  housed   at rented   rooms.   It  had  a combined  enrollment   of 100 pupils.
In    1968,   the   two-room    prefab    building   was followed  by  seven-room  Marcos Type  Building  and  other  school  facilities.  The  site  was  also  enclosed with the concrete fence.

In   1974,    the    school   barrio   became   Geronimo Primary School.
In   1983,   due    to    the   growth  of  enrollment,   the provincial      government     of    the  then    former    Gov. Isidro   S.   Rodriguez  Sr.   purchased   the  adjacent  lot of    3,400   sq. m.   A  two-storey     six- room     building  was   also  constructed  in   the  newly  bought   piece  of  land.   During    hat     time    it   became   a      complete   elementary school.
For    S.Y.     2007-2008,      the     school     has      an enrollment    of    1060    pupils,  20  teachers  and   three non -  teaching    personnel.     It     has   four    two-storey  buildings   with six-room   each. And  two  multipurpose      buildings       which     are     being     used     for    Home    Economics Laboratory and School Canteen & Feeding Center.
